WEBSITE RELAUNCH
New Website, Same Promise: A Look Behind the Scenes of Our Relaunch
Why we rethought design and structure – and what it has to do with COMMANDER
Master your data. Decide with confidence.
Redesigning a website that has grown over the years always raises the same question first: what should stay – and what has to go? At Rosenberger Telematics, the answer was clear from the start: the content stays, the substance stays, the promise stays. But the way we present it all was long overdue for an update.
The Starting Point: Too Much Noise, Not Enough Clarity
Our audience is made up of fleet managers, IT leads, and operations decision-makers – people who deal with complex data every day and have little patience for unnecessary detours. On the old website, this exact audience often had a harder time than necessary finding the answer to one simple question: What can Rosenberger Telematics actually do for me?
So we started from scratch – not just with the layout, but with the entire visual language.
A Clear Visual Language
In the redesign, we deliberately reduced rather than added: one typeface, a calm color palette, clean geometric shapes instead of playful details. Every one of these decisions follows the same idea – structure should be visible, not hidden behind decoration. The result is a website that feels like a single, coherent piece and guides the eye faster to the information that actually matters.
The Thread Connecting to COMMANDER
This is where it all comes together for us as a design team: the visual language of the website isn’t an end in itself – it’s a preview of what you’ll find in our platform, COMMANDER. Our software operates in an environment that is genuinely complex – vehicle data, driver profiles, maintenance cycles, compliance requirements across entire fleets. But complex never means complicated with us.
Just like on the new website, COMMANDER is built on the idea that structure shouldn’t be hidden behind decoration, but made visible through clear hierarchy. Generous whitespace, consistent typography, a reduced color palette – none of these are purely aesthetic choices. They’re a promise of usability that we aim to deliver in the software just as much as on the website.
Software First
The relaunch also takes a clear stance in terms of content: we still offer everything from a single source – software, hardware, and service. But COMMANDER is at the center. This is where every thread comes together, whether through our own hardware or via direct interfaces to vehicle manufacturers. This is where the real value for our customers is created – and where our innovation happens, too. The new website now reflects this priority structurally: COMMANDER isn’t one product among many, but the starting point from which everything else unfolds.
New: Pricing Model and ROI Calculator
Two things are brand new on the website. First, our pricing model: transparent, modular, priced per device – with three procurement paths (BUY, FLEX, RENT) that customers can choose between depending on their liquidity and ownership preferences. → View pricing
Second, the ROI calculator: using their own fleet figures – number of vehicles, mileage, administrative effort – prospects can calculate in real time what net benefit COMMANDER would bring to their operation, even before the first conversation takes place. → Try the ROI calculator
What’s Different Now
Here’s a quick summary of what you can expect on the new website:
- Clearer navigation through solutions, products, and industries – fewer clicks to get to the answer
- Faster orientation on what Rosenberger Telematics can concretely deliver for your fleet
- New design, familiar content – more focused, more objective, easier to read on any device
- New: a transparent pricing model and an ROI calculator for self-service estimates
The result isn’t a revolution of our message, but a sharpening of it. Telematics should just work – that’s always been our ambition. Now it looks the part, too.
