Rosenberger Telematics was founded in 2008 with one mission: give companies full transparency over their mobile assets, regardless of vehicle or machine manufacturer. No lock-in. No complexity. Just data you can use.
Today, Commander is the SaaS telematics platform trusted by construction companies, logistics operators, municipalities, and OEM manufacturers across Europe. It runs in a private cloud in Salzburg, Austria. Your data never leaves the country.
We are part of the global Rosenberger Group (approximately 15,000 employees worldwide), which provides the financial stability and long-term backing that our customers expect from a critical infrastructure partner.

History

Founded as GPS Systemlösungen GmbH
The company is established in Upper Austria with the goal of making telematics accessible to any fleet, regardless of manufacturer.
First proprietary telematics device
The Tino basic 1000 is launched, Rosenberger Telematics' first in-house telematics hardware, combining hardware manufacturing with software development under one roof.
First Telematik Award
Renamed CE+ GmbH and recognised with the first Telematik Award, industry validation that the product approach is working.
Renamed CE+Rosenberger
Deeper integration with the Rosenberger Group brings new resources and a stronger market position in the DACH region.
Rosenberger Telematics GmbH
The company takes its current name, fully reflecting the Rosenberger Group identity. COMMANDER becomes the single, unified platform for all use cases.
