Partnership for progress in logistics: synergies between Opheo and Rosenberger Telematics

Our experts discuss how Rosenberger Telematics and Solvares Logistics are meeting the challenges of the industry through collaboration and innovative approaches and which synergies between their technologies and systems can create added value for users.
We have summarised the essence of the detailed answers from the expert interview for you here. We have focussed on four key topics:
- Increasing efficiency through artificial intelligence and automation
- Sustainability as a strategic advantage
- The vision of a networked solution
- Sustainable strategies and continuous dialogue
The full interview is of course available to all interested parties. At the end we have provided the link to the Opheo expert blog for you. We hope you enjoy the deep dive!

Increased efficiency through artificial intelligence and automation
βThe importance of AI and automation will increase significantly over the next few years,β explains Sollmann. Advancing digitalisation and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) are crucial for the optimisation of transport processes. Opheo's software solutions already enable automated route planning and precise prediction of arrival times.
Meschnig adds: βIf we connect the systems for route planning and telematics and detect a delay using real-time data, for example, the arrival time is automatically adjusted.β This relieves the burden on dispatchers and optimises their decision-making. The next step is to optimise resources such as vehicles and machines in terms of their future operating times and capacity utilisation. Rosenberger Telematics is working on recommendations for action that will help your customers to decide whether equipment should continue to be operated or whether it would be better to sell it and rent it as required.
Sustainability as a strategic advantage
Sustainability is not only a social concern, but also a strategic advantage in the transport sector. βCompanies not only have to fulfil legal requirements, but also actively reduce their COβ emissions,β emphasises Sollmann. Construction companies are a good example of this, achieving significant cost reductions through integrated solutions to avoid empty runs and intelligent route bundling.
In the transport industry, which contributes significantly to global COβ pollution, the pressure to work with foresight is increasing. Regulatory requirements, in particular the EU's Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), are increasing the need to demonstrably record and reduce COβ emissions. Companies that proactively tackle these challenges secure decisive competitive advantages. Opheo's innovative solution supports customers in achieving their emissions-related targets and integrating sustainable practices into their day-to-day operations.
The vision of a networked solution
At the centre of the collaboration between Opheo and Rosenberger Telematics is the vision of a comprehensively integrated solution. βWhen planning and reality converge in real time, real added value is created,β says Sollmann, describing the potential of a digital transport control centre. Meschnig continues: "Together we deliver value - that is our mission and our customer promise. We are convinced that sustainable success can only be achieved through partnership-based dialogue and joint efforts."
In order to guarantee a user-friendly experience, Rosenberger Telematics and Solvares Logistics intensively promote dialogue between developers and users. The focus is on creating solutions that not only fulfil the technical requirements, but also the practical needs of the users who work with these technologies on a daily basis.
Sustainable strategies and continuous dialogue
Finally, Sollmann and Meschnig emphasise the need for continuous exchange. βWe want our customers to be actively involved in the development and improvement of our solutions,β says Meschnig. This is reinforced by regular webinars, workshops and personal dialogues at trade fairs in order to achieve significant progress in the industry together.
The synergies between Opheo and Rosenberger Telematics show how collaboration can not only foster innovation, but also create significant value for the future of logistics. They are setting new standards in efficiency, transparency and sustainability - giving their customers a significant competitive advantage. This partnership between advanced technology, human commitment and customer-orientated innovation is the key to a promising future in logistics.
